Samuel Moloney

I’m Samuel Moloney, a developer and shift manager in Bendigo, Victoria. I build Discord bots, integrations and web platforms, and I volunteer as a firefighter with the CFA.

Most of what I make sits between systems: bots that keep a Discord server and a Roblox group in step, automation that replaces manual admin work, and web tools for people who need something specific done well. Client work goes through my business, Byte Development.

Alongside development I manage shifts at McDonald’s, where I run a crew of up to fifteen across front counter, drive-thru and kitchen. That work taught me to make decisions quickly, coach people in the moment and keep standards up when it’s busy. I’ve volunteered with the Country Fire Authority since 2022 and became an operational firefighter in 2024.

I finished a Certificate III in Information Technology in 2026 and am now studying a Certificate IV in Cyber Security full-time at Bendigo TAFE. I’m looking for development roles that mix building, infrastructure and security.
